Sujoy Kumar Datta is a seasoned mentor and coach with over 14 years of experience in helping students and professionals achieve their target scores in GMAT, CAT, GRE, SAT, and ACT. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and has scored Q51 in the GMAT in just 30 minutes. Sujoy's teaching methodology is disciplined with a focus on building in-depth concepts and he applies innovative and short ways of solving problems. He includes all practice materials and mocks in his coaching sessions. Sujoy's mentoring is based on developing strong fundamentals and he often shows multiple approaches to the same problem, discussing the pros and cons of each to help students have a better understanding of the problem at hand. He is friendly, patient, and encourages people to ask questions. He reinforces learning by asking specific questions where people are most likely to err, which helps students improve their performance in the tests. Sujoy has mentored students globally, including in India, the USA, the UK, Germany, Australia, Singapore, South Korea, Nigeria, Ukraine, Malaysia, Dubai, and Riyadh. His students have scored in the top 5 percent in these tests and have been selected by prestigious institutions like the IIMs, ISB, Cornell, USC Marshall, NUS, UCB, ESMT, and XLRI. Apart from his involvement as a mentor, Sujoy has curated 5000+ questions for test preparation and cognitive assessments, which have been used by Manhattan Review, Mettl, TestFunda, and many more. He has also been associated with Ready4GMAT/SAT, GMAT Club, GRE Prep Club for pro bono mentoring activities, and with TIME, Career Launcher, IMS, etc. as a mentor. Sujoy has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur and has also completed a student exchange program (DAAD) in Engineering from Technische Universität Dresden. He has scored 99.98 in CAT (99.5+ scores 10 times) and has authored articles on test prep strategies that have been published in national dailies like Times of India and Hindustan Times.
