Suman Bishayee is a seasoned Engineering Leader with over 12 years of industry experience in leading diverse and high-performing teams for end-to-end delivery. He has proven technical expertise in delivering various high-performing, scalable, multi-tier, distributed, large-scale software systems that deliver great value to the customer. Currently, Suman is working as an Engineering Manager at Flipkart, where he manages multiple engineering teams like Flipkart Travel, VAS, and Growth Hack with a strong focus on architecture, design, development, testing, stakeholder management, collaboration with product managers, UX designers, and other leaders. Suman has worked with various companies like Adobe and Intuit in the past, where he led multiple engineering initiatives. At Adobe, he worked on the Fulfillment Gateway System, Analytics Platform, and Configuration Management System. At Intuit, he worked as a Dev Lead on the Project CCS, which is a platform for facilitating customer interactions of different Intuit products like Turbo Tax. He was responsible for design, development, testing, and delivery end-to-end. He also ensured engineering best practices and organizational practices were followed in the team. Suman has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Information Technology from West Bengal University of Technology. He has expertise in Java, Microservices, SQL and NoSQL Databases, Messaging systems, API Gateway, AWS, Big Data/Hadoop platform, Elastic Search Analytics, and other complex software systems. He has experience in technologies like Spring, Hibernate, Maven, Jenkins, Spinnaker, JUNIT, and more.
