As the Vice President Marketing at MakeMyTrip, Sumit is a modern marketer who blends his right-brained creativity with left-brained analysis to deliver exceptional results. Sumit is passionate about the digital ecosystem and online marketplaces, and he focuses on the creation, delivery, and follow-through of the company's strategic marketing goals. He is responsible for strengthening the brand and enriching the customers' experiences. Currently, Sumit is heading Brand & Growth for GoIbibo and Marketing Analytics for the group at MakeMyTrip. In his previous roles at MakeMyTrip, he served as Vice President & Head of Performance Marketing - Hotels (MMT & GoIbibo) and Director & Head of Performance Marketing - Hotels (MMT & GoIbibo), where he was responsible for leading performance marketing for the Hotels business. Sumit holds a PGDM in Marketing from IIM, an Exchange Term in International Marketing from KU Leuven, and a B.E. in Electronics & Electrical Communication from Punjab Engineering College.
