Suraj Kumar is a highly skilled and experienced Database Administrator with over 6 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration on Unix, Linux, and Windows platforms. He is currently working as an IT Technology Consultant at SAP Labs India, where he is responsible for the smooth functioning and monitoring of Oracle databases running 24X7 in Production support environment. Suraj has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical and Technological Sciences. He also attended Modern Vidya Niketan for his secondary education. In his previous roles, Suraj worked as a Senior Consultant at Oracle and an Oracle DBA at TCS. During his time at TCS, he was responsible for monitoring the growth of table space, database, and file system disk space. He also performed and monitored the hot and cold RMAN backup and export utility on a daily and weekly basis. Suraj was also responsible for analyzing tables regularly and rebuilding and analyzing indexes. He was also responsible for debugging and troubleshooting various database-related issues raised by users, developers, and Application DBAs.
