Sushant Sinha is a junior year undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science at IIT Patna. He has a keen interest in finding solutions to Natural Language Processing problems using various methods of Machine Learning. He is also experienced in MERN stack web development and has worked on visualizing complicated algorithms. Sushant is a coder by day and an Astrophile and Game-Freak by night! He is a software engineer intern at Amazon, where he worked with the CatEX team to build widgets for Amazon's search page that cater to the personalized branded needs of customers. Prior to his internship at Amazon, Sushant worked as a Sub-Coordinator at njack, IIT Patna, in the Machine/Deep Learning Department, guiding people to explore the never-ending possibilities that Machine/Deep Learning holds. He also worked as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at AI-NLP-ML Research Lab, IIT Patna, where he experimented with NLP, attention mechanisms, and various encoder-decoder architectures to generate accurate image captions in Hindi Language. He also worked with a few clustering algorithms to improve the extractive summarization process on Multi-News dataset. Sushant's education history includes pursuing a Bachelor of Technology - BTech degree in Computer Science from IIT Patna, which he is expected to complete in 2023. Sushant has a strong technical background and is proficient in various technologies such as Software Engineering, Web Development, Deep Learning, NLP, ML, and Search. With almost a year of relevant experience, he is a highly motivated and skilled individual who is passionate about exploring new technologies and finding innovative solutions to complex problems.
