Sushil Maurya is a Senior Software Engineer at Samsung Electronics with a passion for solving problems through writing code. He started his programming journey in 9th standard and has been hooked ever since. Sushil enjoys the challenge of writing a few lines of code to get the desired output and then manipulating it to get an even better solution. He is fascinated by how giving a small input to a program can save time on simple calculations. Sushil studied at Jadavpur University, where he interned at various firms to apply his learning and gain knowledge on how to solve real-life problems that impact people around the world. He also shared his knowledge through clubs and forums at the university. Currently, Sushil is a Senior Software Engineer at Samsung R&D Institute in Bangalore, where he continues to solve software engineering puzzles with passion. He believes that there is always more to learn, more to solve, and more room for growth. Sushil's skills and interests include Android App Development, Web Development, Linux Kernel Development, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Computer Vision. He has experience in software engineering, web development, mobile development, computer vision, deep learning, and machine learning. Sushil has worked on various projects during his time at Samsung, including dual ultrawide sensor bringup, profiling tools for KPI automation, barcode scanning optimization, and face unlock optimization. He has also interned at Samsung, where he worked on Tizen's Web Engine based on Chromium and developed a module for scrollable dynamic list view for Tizen 4.0 compatible with Samsung wearable’s browser. Sushil holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Technology from Jadavpur University. He has relevant experience of 4.61 years and is proficient in software engineering, web development, mobile development, computer vision, deep learning, machine learning, Android, and search.
