Suvra Mallick is an accomplished Product Manager with over 13 years of experience in the consumer mobile technology space. Currently working at Jio, she is responsible for product management and behavioral analytics. Suvra is skilled in team management, negotiations, planning, prioritization, and creating product roadmaps. She has a strong background in managing user experience and app analytics. Suvra is swift at task ownership management and cross-functional execution of product-roadmap by working with design, tech, and operations teams. Prior to joining Jio, Suvra worked at Aushealth Global as a Product and Business Development Manager. There, she managed end-to-end business of the startup starting from developing strategies to implementing them for the founders who are the subject matter experts. She also handled product management starting from ideation phase of a web application for creative writing for kids and managed healthcare product development, market validation, business development for various product and services in South Asia, Middle-East, and Africa. Suvra led BD and IT teams for online & offline marketing, field sales, event management, and product development. Suvra also co-founded Wrapup, a short-news app that provides news in 5-point format. She conceptualized, designed, and handled product development of the app, positioning it as the only app in the short-news genre having headline navigation and making content consumption user-friendly with the motto “crisp yet complete”. Suvra marketed the product to reach 30,000 downloads organically within months and used analytics heavily to acquire, retain and engage users and kept on improving app features and content as per user feedback and market need. She steered a diversely located team of content writers, interns, developers, and partners. Wrapup was part of Times Group’s accelerator BC-GSV, selected for Reliance GenNext Hub, partnered with Jio, IIT-Kgp, BITS-Pilani. Suvra holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from Great Lakes Institute of Management and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science from BPUT, Odisha.
