Swapnil Lawand is an experienced IP NOC Tier 2 network technician currently working with GTT Communication Inc. With 7.7 years of relevant experience, he has a proven track record in the field of network operations and management. At GTT, Swapnil is responsible for managing the Tier 1 IP network, ensuring its smooth functioning and addressing any issues that may arise. Prior to his current role, Swapnil has worked with Yardi as a Specialist and also with GTT as a GNOC Technician L1. In his previous roles, he has gained hands-on experience in maintaining the core GTT Backbone network and coordinating with different NOC teams present across the globe. He is well-versed in proactive monitoring of network alarms and team mailbox, and remotely working with GTT Field team/Provider/Carrier to isolate the faulty segment and trying for earlier restoration of services. Swapnil has also learned the importance of timely customer updates, escalation of the issue internally and with Carrier for the earlier restoration of services while working in a multi-end user NOC. He has hands-on experience with Fujitsu Flashwave (9500 series), Cisco ADM, Juniper MX104, MX480, and Cisco routers (7206,9010). Swapnil holds a degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Government College of Engineering, Karad. He completed his degree in 2015, after starting in 2009. Swapnil has a strong work ethic, is a quick learner, and is always eager to take on new challenges. He has excellent communication skills and is adept at working collaboratively with teams across different locations.
