Swapnil Negi is a software engineer with a passion for problem-solving and a keen interest in probability theory. He is a competitive programmer with a strong presence on various online judges, including Codeforces and Codechef, where he has achieved high ratings of 2131 and 2276, respectively. Swapnil is also an active open-source contributor and maintains gr-modtool, a part of the GNU Radio project, on GitHub. Currently, Swapnil works as a software engineer at Newton School, where he has developed the entire backend architecture for creating a dynamic course curriculum using trees that can be rearranged, merged, and support all CRUD operations. He has also created a rating mechanism for Newton School students based on the modified Elo Rating Mechanism. Additionally, Swapnil has worked on real-time social feeds, feedback forms, assessable game playgrounds, and mock interview automation, among other projects. Prior to joining Newton School, Swapnil worked as a DSA Problem Setting Team Lead at the same company, where he managed and reviewed problems for grand coding contests and monthly coding contests. He has also worked as a software engineer at Microsoft, where he built the cloud management for the Kubernetes and the IoT Edge service on the Azure Stack Edge device and built the landing experience for the cloud management of Edge services on Azure Stack Edge portal extension. Swapnil holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, with a minor in Computer Science and Engineering. He also completed his Senior Secondary education at Sainik School Ghorakhal. His technical skills include software engineering, AI, Azure, integration, backend development, Python, dotNET, Kubernetes, Docker, ASP.NET, Javascript, Typescript, PHP, web development, and Java. With 3.44 years of relevant experience, Swapnil is a highly skilled software engineer with a strong background in problem-solving, competitive programming, and open-source contributions.
