Swarnim Neema is a highly motivated Ph.D. student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Vanderbilt University. With a background in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Swarnim has a keen interest in developing future technologies that can overcome the current constraints of cognitive computing. He has invested his time in learning and researching nanodevices for Neuromorphic Computing and architectures. Swarnim is also exploring the world of Quantum Computing and is learning about spintronics, superconducting qubits, Quantum hardware, and the Qiskit framework for programming quantum computers. Swarnim has a strong passion for Neuromorphic Devices and Circuits, Nanoelectronics: Devices & Materials, Quantum Computing, and Nanofabrication of novel Devices and Architectures. Currently, he is working on developing a Memristor-based Spiking Neural Network Circuit for Cognitive applications as his undergraduate project. Swarnim has gained hands-on experience in different Synthesis and Characterization Techniques such as Cathodic Arc and other PVD Systems, XRD, UV-Vis Spectroscopy, Profilometer, Electrical Characterization System, etc. He has assisted Professors and other students on their research projects related to Metal Oxides, Carbon, and other materials for device applications, in the Center for Advanced Materials and Devices at BML Munjal University. Swarnim has also worked as an Academic Councillor for the Student Academic Council at BML Munjal University. In this role, he advised the Vice Chancellor, Dean - SoET, and Academic Affairs Secretary on matters related to improving academics in the university. He has also worked as a Data Science Engineer at Smart Energy Water. Swarnim has a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering from BML Munjal University. He also holds a Certificate in Quantum Computing from The Coding School. Swarnim completed his Intermediate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from Shri Krishna Public School, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, and his Matriculation from Kendriya Vidyalaya (GAIL), Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh. Swarnim's tech stack includes Data Scientist, Research Scientist, and Neural Networks. With 3.78 years of relevant experience, Swarnim is a driven and passionate individual who is committed to making a positive impact in the field of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
