Swarup N is a former EID intern at GE Healthcare with a passion for open source development, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. He is currently working as a Professional Assistant and Teaching Assistant for the course Object Oriented Programming at BITS Pilani, where he is responsible for educating students on the latest programming techniques and technologies. During his time at GE Healthcare, Swarup successfully designed a Cloud Architecture for an IoT project that handled healthcare data from several operating rooms in a hospital, using Amazon Web Services (AWS). He employed several key services of AWS including EC2, AWS Lambda, AWS Kinesis, Kinesis Analytics, IAM, S3 buckets, SNS, and several others to implement a working prototype that performed real-time analytics on streaming healthcare data from the Anesthesia machine and the Patient Monitor. He also implemented several key healthcare-related algorithms, including Triple Low and Anesthetic Agent check, to determine the mortality rate of an admitted patient. Swarup has gained hands-on experience while working on a framework named Serverless for running code on AWS Lambda. He has worked primarily in Python and Java and used their respective SDKs to implement the project. Swarup holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He also has a Pre-University degree in Computer Science from AECS Magnolia Maaruti PU College and a High School degree in Computer Science from St. Paul's English School. Swarup is well-versed in AWS, ML, Web, Python, and Java. He has 3.78 years of relevant experience and is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow his skillset. With his passion for technology and his dedication to excellence, Swarup is a valuable asset to any team.
