With a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and experience as a software developer, Swathi has a deep understanding of the power of technology to connect people and resources, and is specializing in information systems, business intelligence, and data analytics. Swathi is a curious learner who enjoys trying new things, and has worked on projects ranging from smart robots to recommendation systems and trading engines. She is also interested in people and their life experiences, and is an empath who enjoys connecting with others. In addition to her technical skills, Swathi is an accomplished musician who enjoys playing the ukulele and staying active through vegan cooking. She is also a huge fan of Star Wars and considers music to be her driving force. Swathi has worked as a Senior Associate at Morgan Stanley, where she integrated multiple enhancements for the firm's data loading tool, assisted with legacy scripts to Autosys job migration, and explored Snowflake and Databricks tools. She has also worked as a Technology Associate at Morgan Stanley, where she developed a purging tracker for Hadoop clusters storage health, integrated several APIs to ease administrative processes, and handled several critical production releases. Swathi is currently an Outreach Coordinator for Girls Who Code at CMU, and is actively seeking internship positions for Summer '23. Her tech stack includes Hadoop, Scala, Java, Snowflake, recommendation systems, ML, ETL, software engineering, Databricks, and DevOps.
