Tanya D. is a Deep Learning practitioner with over 5 years of experience in the industry. She is currently working at Crayon AI Center of Excellence as a Machine Learning expert, where she is involved in multiple projects related to Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision (CV). Tanya has expertise in digital image processing, traditional computer vision techniques, handling structured and unstructured datasets, and deep learning. Tanya is passionate about building inclusive, equitable, and accessible technology. She is currently learning to build and deploy ML code as microservices and is also expanding her knowledge about UX to create products that impact the world and include the have-nots in the technological revolution. Tanya has a Master's degree in Machine Learning and Computer Vision from the Australian National University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. She believes that learning should never stop with education and that the only barrier between what you want to be and what you are is your own self. In addition to her work at Crayon, Tanya is a volunteer at Omdena, where she contributes to projects related to social good. She has also worked as an Artificial Intelligence Engineer at Haizea Analytics and as an Editor In Chief at The Future Stack, the first Canberra-based AI newsletter. Tanya's tech stack includes AI, ML, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, NLP, Image Processing, and Microservices. She believes in the power of technology to change the world, and her goal is to help companies execute their vision by formulating the right problem to solve.
