Tejas Ambekar is an accomplished Software Test Lead with over 12 years of experience in Software Testing and a solid understanding of Test Management, analyzing business specification documents, developing test plans, test strategy, test scope, and defining test cases. He is well-versed in all phases of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC), requirements gathering, test planning, and test analysis. Tejas has a profound understanding of various software modules with execution on multiple platforms and strong knowledge of JIRA and ALM tools. In his current role as a Quality Engineering Associate Manager at Accenture, Tejas is accountable for leading, guiding, and monitoring the analysis, design, implementation, and execution of the test cases, test procedures, and test suites. He is responsible for RTM, test closure report, test graphs and matrix’s, test estimations, and planning the tests for execution. He also monitors, measures, controls, and reports on the test progress, the product quality status, and the test results. Tejas is responsible for requirement review, test design, test management, and execution of ALIP functionalities customized for client requirements. He identifies the scope of the testing required for a particular release based on the requirements of the document and recognizes the required metrics and work to have them in place. Throughout his career, Tejas has been involved in creating and managing test strategies and planning. He has a strong background in requirements analysis, breaking down requirements to use cases, and documentation of various phases in a project life cycle. He is deft in writing SQL queries to verify the data in DB and has decent experience in software testing methodologies/tools, defect logging, bug tracking, reporting, and providing application maintenance and support to clients. Tejas holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from G.N.Khalsa College, Mumbai, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science from S.K.Somaiya College, Mumbai. He has also completed Scrum Master and SAFe For Teams Certifications. Tejas is a strong team player and mentor and has excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills.
