Tharun Karam is an experienced Cloud Engineer and DevOps professional with expertise in AWS, Oracle Cloud, Azure, and GCP. He is a Terraform Certified professional with a proven track record in Cloud Operations, Infrastructure, configuration management tools, and Container technologies. Tharun has over 6.5 years of experience in the field and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from AP-IIIT, RGUKT. Currently working as a Principal DevOps Engineer at Ctrls Datacenters Ltd, Tharun has previously worked with SAP and Oracle as a DevOps Engineer and Cloud Engineer, respectively. At SAP, he managed SAP infrastructure of multiple applications hosted in Google, Azure, SAP private cloud, and VMware. He automated the end-to-end application deployment for most of the applications starting from infra to application installation. Tharun has also worked on enforcing tagging for new/existing VMS using az CLI, gcloud CLI, and Python. At Oracle, Tharun was responsible for provisioning infrastructure for customers using Terraform and Python. He also configured instances using Ansible by writing playbook/roles/modules and automated regular tasks using Python. Tharun has also worked on migration projects, where he moved infrastructure from the old platform (OCI-Classic) to a new Oracle cloud platform (OCI Gen2 IAAS).
