Umang Garg is a highly skilled ASIC Verification Engineer with over 4.6 years of experience in the field. Currently working at NVIDIA, he is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of complex verification environments for ASIC designs. With his strong technical skills and exceptional problem-solving abilities, Umang is an integral part of NVIDIA's team. Prior to his current role, Umang worked at Mentor Graphics as a Senior Member of Technical Staff. During his time there, he was part of the Verification IP team and worked on various VIPs spanning multiple domains including AMBA, Serial & Display. He developed a deep understanding of how Verification IP fits into various customer Verification Flows and was responsible for complete customer support, enhancements, and bug fixes for all Mentor AMBA Verification IPs. Umang also developed and implemented a test-plan for "I3C Basic" specification enhancement to existing I3C VIP and developed SMBus VIP from scratch. He was also involved in ramping up in DisplayPort (SST mode), working on customer support and bug fixes for the same. Umang has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida. He also completed his 12th grade from Montfort Senior Secondary School, where he studied PCM-Computer. In addition to his technical skills, Umang is proficient in test and software engineering. With his strong work ethic and dedication to his craft, he is an asset to any team he works with.
