Uri Nativ is a Principal Engineer at Forter, a leading fraud prevention platform. With over 20 years of relevant experience in the tech industry, Uri is a seasoned professional who has made a significant impact in various roles throughout his career. Uri is a co-founder and CPO at Torii, a company that helps modern IT drive business forward by making the best use of SaaS. He is a passionate maker who is dedicated to technology and people and what binds them together. He has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by modern IT and has worked tirelessly to address them through innovative solutions. Before joining Forter, Uri served as VP Engineering & Site Manager at Klarna Israel, where he established Klarna Tel Aviv as an engineering center and was responsible for high-profile, strategic projects. He continued to hire to a team of 40+ and reached 33% of women in engineering. He also gave various worldwide lectures on Agile, Culture, and Software Development and created Klarna Tel Aviv open-house to share knowledge on software development and culture with any company interested in learning how to build amazing products and a place people love working for. Uri holds a B.Sc in Mathematics and Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and an MBA in Business School from The College of Management Academic Studies. He has a wealth of experience in decentralized systems, senior software engineering, software engineering, and QA.
