Vaishali Sontakke is a highly skilled and motivated software engineer with a passion for learning and problem-solving. As a Member of Technical Staff at VMware, she is currently working on network virtualization products, with a focus on application development, networking, data analytics, and machine learning. With nearly 9 years of relevant experience in the industry, Vaishali has developed a diverse range of skills and expertise. Her technical skills include Java, Spring, Python, networking, NSX, ESX, and Vsphere. She has also worked extensively on automation framework development, involving layers of Python and Perl, and has experience working with OSPF, BGP, and Firewalls. Prior to her current role at VMware, Vaishali worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Cisco, where she focused on automation infrastructure development for 3G and 4G LTE products, including the GGSN asr5xxx series. Vaishali holds a Master's Degree in Software Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Cummins College of Engineering, Pune. She also has a diploma in Distinction from Government Polytechnique Pune and completed her secondary education from Maharashtra State Board SSC.
