Vijay Parekh is a highly skilled Manager in Business Intelligence and Analytics with over 15 years of experience in the field. He possesses a creative and analytical mindset that is results-oriented, enabling him to develop effective solutions for complex software issues. Vijay is a certified Microsoft Azure Data Engineer and Power BI Data Analyst. He has extensive experience in using Business Intelligence tools like SSIS and SSRS in MS SQL Server. He is an expert in creating and developing Power BI Dashboards and writing complex DAX functions in Power BI. Vijay has also worked with various sources to pull data into Power BI, such as SQL Server, SQL Azure, and Excel. In addition to his Power BI skills, Vijay is proficient in creating simple and parameterized reports and developing complex reports involving Sub Reports, Matrix/Tabular Reports, Drill down, Drill through, Charts and Graphs using SSRS in Business intelligence development studio (BIDS). He has excellent T-SQL development skills to write complex queries involving multiple tables and can develop and maintain stored procedures, triggers, and user-defined functions. Vijay has experience in Performance Tuning and Query Optimization and has worked on data analysis and data migration using SSIS packages. Currently, Vijay is working as an Analytics Manager at tab32, where he manages the Business Intelligence and ML team. He is responsible for creating and maintaining a data pipeline for collecting data from various third-party applications database and storing it on Google BigQuery using Google Data Fusion. He also creates and maintains data lakes and data warehouses, performs data modeling for ML, and designs solutions for data security, auditing, and governance. Vijay has previously worked at Allscripts India as a Manager, Managed Services - BI and as an Associate Manager. He holds a PGD in Business Information Technology from Northumbria University and a Bachelor of Computer Application from Sardar Patel Institute of Technology.
