Vikarna Tathe is an experienced Solutions Architect with a strong background in the Telecom industry. With over 11 years of relevant experience, Vikarna has proven skills in planning and deployment of NFVi like Openstack, VMware and SDN like Cisco ACI, Big Cloud fabric. Currently, Vikarna is serving as the Platform Engineering Director at zeblok computational where he is responsible for designing, developing and testing the cloud for Edge, enabling the cloud for AI applications, and building automation. Previously, Vikarna has worked with Mavenir as a Manager, leading a team to help organizations achieve OpenStack deployment for the IMS and EPC projects all over the globe, Kubernetes deployment for 5GC and RAN, OpenStack deployment automation, troubleshoot NFV/SDN deployment and integration issues, and integrate tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Kibana. He has also worked with Ericsson India as a Solution Integrator-NFVI, where he was responsible for designing, deploying, and integrating OpenStack solutions, preparing low level design (LLD) for NFV infrastructure (Openstack+Network Switch), deploying the OpenStack solution for Packet core (vEPC), integrating the solution with 3rd Party applications, and providing support till successful Go live and handed over the setup to Operations team. Vikarna holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics from K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering and a Master's degree in Networking and Telecommunication from the International Institute of Information Technology. He is skilled in AI, test, Senior Software Engineer, Kubernetes, Elastic Search, Integration, infra, and his expertise lies in Edge computing for AI and IOT.
