Vikas Saini is a highly skilled Software Development Engineer with extensive experience in maintaining, managing, and creating microservices. He is currently working as an SDE-3 at OLX Autos, where he is responsible for scaling and making fault-tolerant and reliable microservices. Vikas has a strong background in search technologies, including Lucene, Solr, and Elasticsearch. He also has experience with chatbots and messaging platforms, as well as voice bot technologies like Alexa, Google Home, IVR, and messaging platforms. He has designed and developed novel search applications and their relevancy from scratch, making him an expert in his field. In addition, Vikas has experience with serverless architecture, specifically AWS Lambda, which he has used to implement serverless solutions for third-party API calls using Kinesis as a trigger. He has also created voice bots with Alexa and Google Dialogflow and centralized logs into Elasticsearch. Before joining OLX Autos, Vikas worked as a Lead Software Engineer and Senior Software Development Engineer at Netomi. While there, he implemented serverless solutions, designed and implemented workflows for messaging platforms, and developed Alexa skills for voice bots.
