Vinay Jaasti is a highly experienced software engineer with a career spanning almost 15 years. He is currently working as part of the tech team at airmeet, where he is involved in building the platform. Vinay has a strong background in software development and has held senior positions at companies such as blackbuck and shotang. At shotang, Vinay was responsible for helping the company to grow its technology platform to support 15,000 registered retailers across seven cities. He worked closely with the VP of Engineering to build and manage a high-performance engineering team of 19 members. Vinay was co-owner of engineering at shotang and was involved in all aspects of the development process, including hands-on development, architecture, production support, deployments, technology strategy, policies control, resource allocation, and hiring strategy. Vinay's technical expertise is broad and includes experience with RabbitMQ, Jenkins, AWS, Java, MySQL, microservices, DevOps, and Android. He has also introduced processes such as release management and production support and has personally set up tools to manage these processes.
