Virendra Kumawat is an experienced Manager 2 in Software Engineering at Dell with over 14 years of relevant experience. He has expertise in Backup and Recovery domain, NAS testing, and basic knowledge of SAN. Virendra is also an expert in Automation Testing in Python Scripting and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). He has extensive experience in testing both Server/Client and GUI applications, functional testing, regression testing, and build sanity testing. Virendra has working knowledge of virtualization on Linux platform (KVM) and virtualization on ESXi, V-Center, and VCloud Director. He has experience in networking protocols such as NFS, CIFS, ISCSI, omfs, afp, etc. Virendra has a strong understanding of the Agile process (Scrum) and is a very good team player with excellent communication and interaction skills with clients, team members, and reporting managers. Virendra has attained ISTQB Basic level certification with 85% marks. He has worked as a Principal Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Dell and a Senior Principal QA Engineer at Calsoft. At Calsoft, he was involved in testing various HNAS features like NFS, CIFS, Replication, and Migration. He was responsible for functional/regression/automation testing for Hitachi NAS software and automated existing manual tests using Python Scripting. Virendra also provided Python training to the team to ramp up the team for Python automation.
