Vishrut Shukla is a strategic product partnerships lead for Teams App Marketplace & Ecosystem at Microsoft. He heads the Microsoft Teams Engineering's Platform Ecosystem group in Eastern Hemisphere markets including India, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, Japan, and Australia-New Zealand. Vishrut is responsible for strategic partnerships with SaaS startups, ecosystem partners, and cloud application developers to make Teams an indispensable organizing layer, a unified productivity workspace for knowledge workers of today through the next-gen of Collaborative Apps built around people. Before returning to Microsoft, Vishrut headed the entire portfolio of web and mobile apps product platforms plus product analytics at Zivame.com. He shipped four consumer e-commerce platforms, redesigned to be modular and mobile-first from the ground up, which raked in ~85% of the company's revenues. Starting his product career straight out of post-grad at Microsoft, Vishrut drove Office for Android apps' go-to-market strategies as a business PM through partnerships with large global OEMs (Samsung, Sony, LG among others) and device/OS partners as well as internal stakeholders resulting in preinstall & deep integration of Office apps on 20+ million Android devices taking the overall installation base of Office for Android well above 100 million devices. Before that, he launched the first PowerPoint for Android app (100mn+ device installs, 4.4/5.0 rating) as Product PM for presentation scenarios, telemetry & UX. Vishrut is a consummate team player with strong analytical and people leadership skills. He has an eye for great user-facing design, likes to form a point of view on things, enjoys gaining complete ownership of deliverables in a high-stake environment, and is often known to be the go-to person for distilling complexity into understandable chunks of relevant information. Beyond work, graphic design and reading on his Kindle is his way of relaxing. Vishrut holds a Post Graduate in Management (PGDM) from IIM Bangalore and a B.E. (Honours) in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. He has 11.03 years of relevant experience and is skilled in product management, Android, mobile, integration, web, and design.
