Vivaan Taneja is a creative and goal-oriented CS undergraduate with a passion for UI/UX design, front-end web development, and graphic design. He is currently a Core Member of Google Developer Student Clubs Thapar and has previously served as the Chief of Design and Member at Enactus Thapar. With a keen eye for detail, Vivaan specializes in graphic design and uses Photoshop and Illustrator to express his thoughts digitally. He has also tried his hand at studying UI/UX design with Figma and excelled at it. He is now invested in web programming and plans on mastering full-stack development, driven by a desire to up-skill himself every day. Additionally, he is proficient in C++ and intends to learn competitive programming. Aside from his tech skills, Vivaan is also a talented musician and drummer. He has completed Trinity College of London's music examinations in drums and had his training from Late Sonam Sherpa sir of the band Parikrama at Parikrama School of Music in New Delhi. He has performed at many gigs and professional concerts and has competed in various inter-school competitions and battle of bands, where he garnered great praise for playing jazz, funk, and fusion. Being an empathetic human being, Vivaan is deeply involved in social entrepreneurship and is undertaking projects under the tutelage of his mentors at Enactus Thapar. He is a proven leader and has served as the General Secretary of his school student body, where he organized various events and campaigns across the school campus, enabling him to develop his teamwork and leadership skills. Vivaan is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, with an expected graduation year of 2025. He completed his High School Diploma in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, and Fine Arts from Amity International Saket in 2021. Overall, Vivaan is a well-rounded individual with a diverse range of skills and interests. He hopes to contribute positively to society and make the world a more inclusive and better place to be in.
