Yagyik V. is a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for water management and civil engineering. Currently pursuing a double degree master's in Transnational ecosystem-based Water Management (TWM) from Germany and The Netherlands, Yagyik is a Master thesis Intern at Deltares, where he is conducting research in the river dynamics and inland navigation department for the Salto Grande Reservoir project. With a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and over 5 years of experience in business development roles with an engineering consultancy, cement, and an Indian MNC, Yagyik has a wealth of experience in the field. He has also completed an internship in Germany, where he performed the operation of a real-time control model to stabilize water levels in the Inteco Multitank system related to the field of reservoir automation. Apart from his professional experience, Yagyik is a multifaceted individual with a range of interests and hobbies. He enjoys listening to music, cooking, playing badminton, singing, traveling, making friends, and learning new things. Having traveled to South Africa, Hungary, Germany, and The Netherlands, Yagyik has a global perspective and is keen to explore new cultures and experiences. Yagyik's educational background includes a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, a Master of Science in Transnational ecosystem-based Water Management (TWM) from Radboud University and the University of Duisburg-Essen. He has also attended Carmel Convent School, Faridabad, and Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat, Solan. As a Research Scientist, Yagyik has a strong technical background and is proficient in MATLAB/Simulink. With 5.44 years of relevant experience, he is well-equipped to take on challenging projects and deliver high-quality results. Yagyik's passion for water management and civil engineering, along with his technical skills and diverse experience, make him a valuable asset to any organization.
