Yastee Shah is a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer with a passion for learning and exploring new technologies. With almost of 5 years of relevant experience, he has developed expertise in various areas such as DevOps, AWS, Azure, Puppet, Python, Ansible, Jenkins, and more. Currently working at Crest Data Systems as a Site Reliability Engineer - E3, Yastee is responsible for deploying, monitoring, and maintaining Splunk Cloud systems on AWS. He provides continuous support for the operational infrastructure and delivery of server deployments, including the release process, image management, backup/restore, and DR. Yastee is also involved in troubleshooting complex problems, resolving operational issues, and interacting with vendors. He creates automation for various tasks via Puppet/Python and communicates technical requirements effectively with all involved teams for executing and completing appropriate organization-wide projects.Before joining Crest Data Systems, Yastee worked as a Cloud Engineer at Sndk Corp. where he worked with AWS services and developed Alexa skill for smart home automation. He also contributed to the organization's product development, SpikeBot. Yastee has also worked as a PHP Web Developer at Maven Agency, where he developed a backend website to collect and handle the data using PHP, CSS, HTML, Smarty, jQuery, and Ajax.Yastee holds a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Charotar University and completed his Higher Studies (11th and 12th) from Atomic Energy Central School (AECS), Kakrapar, India, with a focus on Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Computer. Yastee is a certified AWS SAA and Splunk professional with a strong tech stack in SRE, AWS, DevOps, Azure, Puppet, Python, Ansible, Jenkins, infra, Web, PHP, and Backend. He is a quick learner, an excellent problem-solver, and a great team player. Yastee believes in learning different things and exploring new technologies to live life to the fullest.
