Yvan Gakuba is a highly motivated and innovative Software Engineer with over 4 years of relevant experience working with the latest technologies. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Ford Motor Company, where he is responsible for developing software solutions to meet the company's needs. Yvan is a results-oriented individual who is skilled in managing projects and coordinating team resources using various software development methodologies such as Agile, RUP, and Waterfall. He is a quick learner and an effective team player who guarantees optimal quality in his work. Yvan's past experience includes working as an XP engineer at Northern Trust Corporation and as a Software Engineer at AC Group Rwanda, where he oversaw core system expansion and developed newly proposed software across all phases of the development life cycle. He also worked with a remote team to set up the network infrastructure, install servers and deploy the Tap&Go core system in Yaounde, Cameroon. Yvan improved production time through automated tools, abstraction APIs, and code versioning. Yvan has also worked on several projects, including the development of a Route(Flit) monitoring system used in different conferences such as the World Economic Forum and the African Union. He implemented a dashboard producing data on the number of passengers at hotels, passengers in buses, and passengers reaching different conference destinations. He also analyzed the distribution of cards and devices among dealers and bus operators and developed a web application module for managing the distribution and replacement of the devices used in the Tap&Go project. Yvan has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Maharishi International University and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Adventist University of Central Africa.
