Wipro hires most freshers through the Elite National Talent Hunt (NTH). It also runs Turbo for stronger coders and WILP for BCA/B.Sc graduates. Wipro publishes exact rules in each drive notice, so treat the details below as a guide and confirm on the official portal.
Wipro fresher programs and salary
- Elite (Project Engineer): approx. ₹3.5 LPA in recent batches.
- Turbo: approx. ₹6.5 – 7 LPA, with a higher cut-off and a harder technical round.
- WILP (Work Integrated Learning Program): for BCA/B.Sc graduates. You work at Wipro while completing a higher degree.
Typical eligibility (check each notice)
- Degrees: B.E./B.Tech (and some integrated M.Tech) for Elite and Turbo. BCA/B.Sc for WILP.
- Marks: earlier drives asked for 60% throughout. Use the exact rule in the current notice.
- Backlogs: clear all backlogs before joining.
- Batch: usually the current graduating batch.
Selection process
- Online assessment: aptitude (quant, logical, verbal), a written essay, and coding (usually 2 problems).
- Technical interview: Java/OOP, DBMS, networking basics and your project.
- HR interview: relocation, shifts and the service agreement (if applicable).
Don't skip the essay. A weak essay can cost you the job even with good aptitude scores. Write 3 short paragraphs: your view, two examples, and a conclusion.
